Not the best thing to grace the pages of the Poetic Haven, but I had to make some kind of contribution on this historic day!  Longing for the sun to rise Over the soft green hills Views stir and that touch my soul I still look and get chills Nothing ever could make me Give up this glorious day I see Each day is a gift from God Veiled by sorrow, but beautiful still Every day I rise Ringing tears from my eyes Yonder daylight… I long to feel Dawn will come to us each day And each morn, with gratefulness I pray Yearning to feel all days to come "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav |
