Link me chained daisy days To stretch past June Where melted by July heat They anchor into summer That I might Pull petals from each Citing she loves me she loves me not Until a season should pass And I on find of buttressed End of links Put holdfast heart To suns warmth Replacing hers |

Ron, It is so creative. I love it. "Until a season shall pass" Wow...sure is heart touching.... As is most of your poetry. Oops, guess that should be all of it. For, indeed it does. Enjoyed, Hugs, Pat |

ROTFL at JM's chain yanking comment. ah, the rites of spring I remember the excitement and freshness of it, I think. |

Ron, Some interesting writing here. A little difficult to understand, but that's a very good thing... I love poetry that forces the reader to think in order to get anything from it. Did I get it you ask? Yeah, I think so. quote: Looking forward to learning about love, and then... quote: Looking past it, to coping with loss? Am I right here? Please enlighten me, because I want to read this a few more times if there's anything I'm missing at all. I'd give you the whole loved-your-poem you're-so-talented thing, but I think that should go without saying by now... your quality is always consistent in your poetry, Ron, I'm not going to waste your time reminding you how awesome you still are. Thank you for contributing to Sanctuary, my friend... great to see you in these walls. Parasite Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world. |

LP... close... think of the first part as an ending of love and a plea for it to last if even in a love me love me not way... the ending a way to cope with loss..yes.... looking for the heat of summer a time not so soft not so much about rebirth to move past the pain and let that take the place of the wartmh of another.... JM... I think I said I would not be writing like I did before...not in quatity and not because the words would not let me ignore them... LOL... but yes the post is from me and yes I did say I might not write at all for a while.... |

Well the moth is SOOOOO glad you didnt listen to yourself. ( now you know I wouldnt yank yer chain, dont ya) I refuse to accept that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism & war that the daybreak of peace can never be reality. |

'Link me chained daisy days To stretch past June Where melted by July heat They anchor into summer That I might Pull petals from each Citing she loves me she loves me not' Never cared for the odds much but guess it's not any different than tossing a coin each morning on waking, which I've grown rather adept at doing! |
