Roses are red
Violets are blue,
Sometimes I drink out of the toilet.

I would like to give you a constructive critique...don't take up comedy as a profession...and you DO write - I'm waiting for that novel you know!!

How about:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I drink out of the toilet,
Why don't you?

Well, you asked for critique....

Elizabeth,
I think he should leave it just the way it is. Adding the fourth line, it won't be a Haiku any more.

Haiku?

I think NOT!

This is definitely a sonnet.

Perhaps now you'll agree, that not just the seat of the toilet should be kept down, but also, the LID.

Roses are red
My dog is blue
He drank from the toilet
Now has a green hue.

You figure out the color scheme.

I prefer Elizabeth's version.     This was good but it could do with a revision, the rhyme scheme was defied in the last line.
Nice work, nonetheless.
