Today smacked well of yesterday and tomorrow looks the same
So if tomorrow twists and turns, I can't be held to blame
Deception lies like oil slick pond filled with rainbow sheens
Iridescence glowing, never knowing of the dulling of nature's gleam
Regarded then discarded as this shimmer winks at me
Pondering tomorrow's yesterday, I can see how this can be
But if tomorrow forgoes today and skips to yesterday
I might avoid the whole affair and stay in bed today

Excellent plan, Ali.

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

Hehe... clever, old friend! I like this a lot. We all have days when we just want to stay in bed!!
