Who needs this life’s reality?
when imagination holds sway
who needs to really know
more than dreams convey

In seeking love within this heart
search deep and you will find
that love lives not just in here
but lives also in my mind

I do not trust this vessel
to see beyond the lies
I cannot trust emotion
when I look into your eyes

So I place my faith in that
which helps me see things clear
a mind that ever questions
behind the smile’s veneer

Is life so real, I’ve lost track,
Really, I want my fantasy back
when imagination holds sway
who needs to really know
more than dreams convey

Elsewise why should turn out the light

In seeking love within this heart

Like the little Engine I think I can,
But atlas I really don’t understand

I do not trust this vessel

They are just the spiritual pools
Reflecting back the hopes of fools

So I place my faith in that
which helps me see things clear
a mind that ever questions
behind the smile’s veneer
More than dreams let us find,
Really reality is all in the Mind.
