A tear from the eye of God falling helplessly from the sky His overwhelming sadness begs the question ‘why?’ Branches of the maple tree reach up to break my descent held aloft for just a moment does it know I am Heaven sent? With tender care the branches all pass me gently down the tree and thus upon the last branch I find I must now jump to be free In trepidation I leave the branch to fall into the unknown but find myself fallen atop a seed somehow unsown Joined together, God’s tear and seed we unite in nurture’s plan forming roots of love and care ‘tis how this world began. |

Well, I'll have whatever YOU are having...inspired metaphors here. This is two in a row that I have read, I like the slow drawing out of images you are incorporating into your work...it's a quiet piece that left me with the sensation of gentle falling. OH...and hey...Nice place ya have here PdV! |
