It is understood that sheep must be fed When summer has gone and winter is here For if you don't feed them they end up dead But that's a story you don't want to hear It happens my sheep are always outside Roaming the pasture where grass now has gone When I put the hay in, the roof opens wide Held by a stick as it's long time been done I never encountered a problem there But they were pushing the stick yesterday The roof fell down and you wanna know where On top of my head in very harsh way My head went down and I hit my poor nose For I had not seen it coming you know The ground below colored like a red rose So I pinched my nose tight to stop the flow "Are you stupid or what" I was yelling And sounded like I was having a cold "You're all butcher's meat you lot I'm telling" But that of course was spoken very bold I did feel my nose all over my face And feared for today to see it all blue I'm working with sixty men at my place They wouldn't accept my story as true So that is what happened yesterday Today my face looks quite normal to me The roof opens now in another way And the sheep? Well I choosed to let them be A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... |

I love this! We had a cow-calf herd at one time, and I was told to "hold back the bull" by putting my arms akimbo...no, thank you... |

Titia, I loved this and it brought back memories! I may even write about them. But it sounds like you came out the worse for wear. Glad all got better with time. Great tale, ME |
