Molasses doesn’t suit you and I simply don’t write corn. So how can I salute you on the day that you were born? Shall I mention wicked humor and a tendency to weep? I swore I’d spread no rumors, so that’s a secret I will keep. Shall I say you make me blush? At times, you know, it’s true. My dear, if I were flush, I’d send a gift or two to you. I’d send you a dancing boy with a dimple in his chin. It’s a gift you might enjoy; I think he’d work right in with some happy birthday tunes. You need to take a break; he could blow up the balloons and then he could bake your cake.  Nan |

Nan darling girl this is utterly utterly wonderful Marsha Birthday Week is off to a fabulous start. YOUR writing is wonderful the poem is a delightful confection and I'll have as much of it as I can. Wonderful to see you here darling girl thank you muchly. Big hugs and huge smiles A treasure to be cherished, A gift from God above; Is the beauty of a friendship, Touched by unconditional love. A love that asks no questions, Believes in all the best; Never doubting, ever trusting, Withstanding any test. A love that weathers any storm, And yet that love still stands; Through the very darkest hour, It still reaches out a hand. There in that hand the sweetest gift, That you can give a friend; A heart that cares, a love that shares, That will be there till the end.
