Some guy with chalk I run; I walk; I sing; I talk; go forward, balk Ignoring what they say, having a splendid day For why should I try to please some guy with chalk? Listening to the chatter of what He thinks does matter, his evil way. Didn't God make me to live and love, enjoy creation, free? But if I have to please some man, and live in misery What good is this? I want God's bliss, the mountains and the sea I want no rain from chains of bondage making me piss upon a tree. And so, I'll shout, they'll know, my clout, hear 'trary pout As I happily go my way, having a splendid day Looking at trees, I'll never appease some guy with chalk For God tells me what matters, not dead men chatters, as evil rules the day And so, I run; I walk; I sing; I talk; go forward, balk Ignoring what they say, having a splendid day For why should I try to please some guy with chalk?
