Life is like an ocean with ever changing tides. Ebbing in and out bringing changes with each passing wave. We learn to ride the waves until they slowly die. Currents flowing in and out releasing storms of emotions in our minds. Some are happy some are sad; some only healed with the passing of time. Yet we must learn to ride the current and change with every wave; and flow within the ocean of ever changing tides. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. ~Me~ (I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~Garth) [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (01-12-2002 09:26 PM).] |

YAY!!! And when we weather these storms, the rewards and love we find are timeless and precious, as will it be clear sailing all the way on! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, your words again amaze me, we all love you so much! Onward we sail! (smiles) You have such a beautiful heart, swet Donna, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Beautiful poem, I like your analogy. There are times when storms rage and we're tossed about and lost in the sea of life, and then sometimes, like the sea, our lives are calm and serene...I love this poem. |

Lone Wolf, I appreciate your enthusiastic reply. Hugs to you. Wow Noah, that is a compliment! I've never considered my writing amazing, I just write it the way I see it. I am glad you enjoyed it. HumbleBee I thank you for that. I didn't really realize I was writing an analogy when I wrote this, it was just more the way I felt at the time that I wrote it. No matter how bad the waves are, tomorrow always comes. Thank you sooo much for this reply. Welcome to passions. JK, how true those words are. Thanks for leaving your thoughts. Welcome to passions. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. |
