Horizon shimmering from the sunrise Orange reflections are within my eyes As this savior awakens from the east, it allows my spirit to be released It can fly, though its wings are battered and it can feel, though its heart is tattered And I beg it not to traverse back to me, for today, I’ll relish this discovery That some rivers truly run down stream, it is possible to wake up to a dream, there’s boundless hope in the tiniest of rays and the importance of cherishing each day These orange reflections within my eyes, a gift given to us all in a sunrise, are like a drop of blood to a dying heart, providing inspiration for a fresh start © David 2002 [This message has been edited by GenXer (01-12-2002 03:58 PM).] |

If this doesn't appease her, I don't know what will... |

Dave darling boy THANK YOU This is utterly utterly one of the most beautiful pieces you've ever written. See how happy you've made me? I'm smiling a huge smile. And YOU have to know a smile suits me far better than tears. Naturally enough darling boy I know you feel better writing smiles. Okay I'm appeased however.... If YOU enjoyed writing a happy piece please do it again. Dave it is fabulous all joking aside YOU have a wonderful talent and this proves it. And I'm keeping it, into my library darling boy.... it's okay YOU'LL be okay the Witch of the web is waiting to keep you company Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 |

Dave, How could you do this to me! She thought my work was good but after seeing yours she will put mine straight into the bin. How can the moon compare to the sun? I love what you've done with sun's rays oh Father Sun. Keth (Who is not speaking to you ever again!) Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

this flows very well. . . a picture of what the sun can bring to an empty heart. . . well done. . . and, if it appeases Mushy, then it must be good. . . ----------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

This is exquisitely beautiful, Dave... and Marsha will love it even more when you give it to her in person...you can wrap her NY pizza in it, then maybe it won't taste so bad....or you can get some Michigan pizza to give her along with this beautiful poem. copyright2001 Lyra Nesius |
