Another forever blinks and bolts so fast it nearly knocks me over in a desparate attempt to flee Leaving hope and trust destroyed ripped and strewn in chaos as the only reminder of it's presence Storms simmering inside I pause choosing instead to nail a "dead end" sign upon the path One slam of the hammer to echo my thoughts turning to survey outstretched roads in sight for the stability of a possible tomorrow |

I hope your heart leads you on a road that is smoother and never ends... This poem made me think a lot about life and how we put a dead end sign to parts we want to leave behind. Very well written. **big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Love this metaphor, think often of the "dead end" feeling we all get and how sometimes we have to make our own roads. This is indeed a powerful poem. You said a lot in a short verse. Kathleen--(Kay) |

I got the idea from reading this, that you went down a road, and, seeing that it came out to nowhere, doubled back and nailed the sign up so that you wouldn't go back down the same road. . . just my own insight. . . you indeed have done well here. . . excellent. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
