Now That You Are Gone |

Your memories play my heartstrings- Like the angels play their harps... A muted compilation... Of mingled flats and sharps... So sweet the hours that we had... So sad, the parting day... To change our dreams of sunshine, In a cloudy, dreary way. “I miss you” never will express- The longing in my heart. Nor the way the hours drag like years- Since we have been apart. “I love you” sounds so shallow- In view of how I groan... But that is all that I can say... Now that you are gone. |

John, how sad and despairing. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

*sigh* words of love never sound shallow, dear man...this poem touched my heart. I am sure she misses you as much as you miss her. **big hugs** I hope your pain eases soon. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

John, the sorrow in your writing touches me deeply. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |
