I gazed into a looking glass, ...to see what I could see, No images reflected back, ...I saw not even me. I was confused, my mind a blank, ...as was the looking glass, With vacant stare, I could not pierce, ...the depths of mirror's morass. It was a window to my soul, ...but yet, I could not see, A labyrinth with exit not, ...a lock which had no key, I peered in vain, my eyes a glaze, ...no where for me to flee, If one can't see, into the glass, ...then one can never be. |

Thought provoking write...which I enjoy, a poem which leaves me wondering....also, slightly frightened. Good work, Nancy. ~* A dream is a wish your heart makes... *~ |

Yes, I read the mystery of the looking glass in this one. It's a mystery to me anyway and this poem hit on that perfectly. Kathleen--(Kay) |

WOW!!! This poem is so deep and powerful...I kept thinking you were missing the key to your looking glass...for me the key would be to unlock and accept all that my past is...then I would clearly see reflected the me who was shaped by it all. MAGNIFICENT!!!**big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

YAY!!! Ooohhhhh...I love it, I too thought of this as both beautiful but also freightening! (sigh) If we can look through the glass and see the prisms of our heart, we are destined to find all our dreams and all we desire! (big hugggsssss) I love it, sweet friend, BRAVO!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
