We laud our dogs. We give them fame. We honor their deeds. We remember their names. Songs have been written. Poems read. I wonder what more has to be said? We love these canines, faithful and true. But if we were starving what would we do? Love them to death to feed ourselves first? Give them our only, to quench out their thirst? These beautiful pets. We love them no less. Though thinking out loud I must confess. The most wonderful thing a dog could do. Is lay down its' life for starving you. So don't you be wagging your finger so stern at those poor other people whose life they would spern. For just one moment of yours. In luxury sublime. To be able to play with your dog all the time. |
