Censor Ye Deceptions.

You fail to impress me with your facade,
of being whiter than white.
Your criticism of me is wasted
I trust neither your insight,
or qualifications you possess,
that lead you to think
You are better, or know best.

You are shallow individuals.
I can smell your fear, as your fingers run ... tense
Scouring my words for double entendre
or subtle traces of dissidence.
Dissecting , even between the lines,
all the while disguised,
by your poetry loving pretence.

You can never stifle the flow, you fools.
Ask `Canute`.
Just as his resistance was futile,
such is yours
and win you can not.
So I sit back, confident,
relax and smile.

For although your sneaking attempt at censorship,
may win for you today.
Beware, that for every door you close,
I shall find another route,
an alternative way
and despite you "all powerful" moderator tools,
I will eventually and without restriction,
Finally have my say.

It was yes. lol.
but it came out quite well so I just posted it everywhere.

error in the following line;

"and despite you "all powerful" moderator tools",

Should have been (your "all powerful" moderator tools )

Thanks glad you liked it, I only wrote it too annoy a moderator on another board, cool that such a good poem can come from such a petty minded action eh?

Quite a powerful post Ven. I must say, I'm glad to hear it is about the other board and not here. I did see your post earlier and reviewed some of the comments on the other board. I think you'll find that although we have guidelines here that we ask be followed, we are a fair and family-oriented group. Our members themselves contribute to the moderation of this site through our Deputy Moderator program which has been in place for almost a year.

Dear Kit,
I'm sure you'll agree that it is never wise to dive in without testing the water so to speak.
I like to push boundary's and bend rules as I think its what keeps our spark alive and our creative clocks a tickin.
I need to defend myself when I beleive I am being unfairly treated though I try never to hit below the belt, or stoop so low as to personally insult any individual. I simply voice my opinion as calmly as I can while simultaniously defending the right's of others to have their own differing opinions.
I'm sure you recall the little rule testing excercise I performed when I first started posting here

and I still post, because although we had different views we both had the courage to stand by our convictions each showing the respect to let the other have their say.
So to summarise, I tested the water and you managed to keep it warm.
For this, I thank you and as long as this is the case I'll continue to swim here.
