My Perfect Life in my perfect life I’ve found some imperfections placed them all together call them my collections each has it’s own place but as I look in my inspections some cross over to others my imperfection intersections I inspect them all at each and every section they are just wild hairs go in all directions I know them all by heart they are my connections the worst of them are attached to my affections getting better at being alone no one to give objections seeing who I truly am within my reflections "I have already paid for all my future sins." Sade...(King of Sorrow) |

Helen - you do write with perfection, and you are an artist... I know these thoughts below, and have found them to be true... getting better at being alone no one to give objections seeing who I truly am within my reflections BC |

It's hard work becoming a better human being and part of it is accepting that we cannot be perfect, how ironic! Great poem. |

They say that even the most perfect diamond has a flaw...I think you're a gem. This poem is flawless. Very thought provoking work. |

I have reflected over much of what you write here and you are absolutely right. Even with its imperfections, I truly love my life. Like Bill, I too particularly relate to those last four lines. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

WE ALL do this...sometimes too much...I have done this many times...What always helps me is someone who thinks I am very special... Their words..they keep me from doing all of those inspections... This was beautifully written and very honest. That goes a long way.. |

I love the way you used the rhyme in this piece, Helen. It was a rather ingenius piece of perfection. copyright2001 Lyra Nesius |
