You were the lily of his valley The wind beneath his wings The woman behind the camera So much joy did your life bring Such an accomplished photographer With so much respect from your peers Your most untimely death Would cause many to shed a tear So devoted you were to your soulmate Many love songs he wrote about you So much love he had for his lady For you there was nothing he wouldn't do A partnership made in heaven So very rarely did you leave his side How radiant you both looked On the day you became his bride Life took you on many a journey So many hills you had to climb But you now faced your biggest battle As your life was running out of time The road ahead seemed long and winding Your inner strength would shine through But eventually your illness claimed you There was nothing anyone could do A camera now void of film A fine lady now departs But your spirit will live on Inside many peoples hearts * * * * * This was written about a remarkable woman, the late Linda McCartney.I was inspired to write this after reading her autobiography which was a wonderful read. Thanks for reading this......Sue Suetang |

(sigh) This is sooooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, Linda is such a wonderful person that's deserving of this lovely tribute, just like Paul and you, the loving heart that always writes such lovely words! (kiss on cheek) She will always smile in all our hearts, sweet friend, this is timeless in it's beauty! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

So many thousands of passings in the recent times, hard to believe we lost such a talented woman so soon...and Sue...you made me cry... |

Sue what a heartfelt poem and yes, she was a wonderful woman, all woman! This was a tasteful, and extremely well done tribute her, it is a shame her husband could not see this. ~*~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |
