A Fairy’s Poem…for Sy

See a necklace of crystal dew
From a fairy's point of view
Then gather the hand of your adore
This I would ask, and nothing more...

Come with me, a grass blade to climb
Call me sweet one, then call me fine,
Shimmer my wings with sparkling dust
Shake away the winter’s rust

Soon we shall sneak to the dragon’s lair
Just to see if Randy’s there
Then tickle his nose with champagned dew
Who would have thought! Me, and you?

So often, you have come to rest,
Playing words from deep your chest
Never knowing I was just there
Hiding behind your compare

You thought me but a beam of sun
Never knowing I had become
A fairied thought to float your time
While you sat to pen your rhyme

Ah, but that is just the way of me
A bit of sun, some fairied fantasy
A song complex, from deep within
Where the dragon dwells with kin

So, when you see a necklace of crystal dew
then take it from a fairy's point of view
Just gather the hand of your adore
This I would ask, and nothing more...

This is a beautiful poem, Sunshine. I love stories about fairies. I love the pictures, too.

Karilea, This is a beautiful piece and the graphics really add to it. I too am a lover of fairies. Beautifully done.

I had to wait till I could get to a different computer to see this gem...the graphics crashed my moth computer...
twas worth the wait ...this is lovely and enchanting Sun...and a wonderful gift of inspire for sweet Sy.
