PIPs Junkie By Larry Chadwick It happened without notice, Suddenly it was just down. I tried with no success, repeatedly, Left me wearing an ugly frown. I panicked and didn’t know what to do, So dashed for my email to write. Struggling to compose my thoughts, I penned my SOS in fright. PIPs IS DOWN…PIPs IS DOWN! What in the world am I to do. I took several deep breaths, And collected my thoughts, they were few. And then it was, it came to me, Fool! Go write some poetry of rhyme. It soothed my mind and calmed my nerves, And happened just in time. I’ve been forced to face reality, And make this bold confession. Said tonight with pride or shame, Poetry has become my obsession! ME TOO! LOL! I think I experienced the same blink you did tonight here at the forums, but I was busy writing, so I didn't panick to much.  Just had faith that all would be okay. And I rebooted! This is a fun one! And its okay...now you have a support group. For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me. |

try beer larry - it helps with the withdrawal, but you probably don't want to mix it with rhyme trust me the results don't look as good in the morning as they did the night before-Dave |

This brought back some great memories. *S* Back in the early days, the transition wasn't as smooth when one forum filled up... without warning, we would be a bunch of addicts deprived of our fix... How the emails flew as the poetry junkies searched for fellow sufferers to lean on while the wizard worked his magic! LOL I enjoyed this, Larry. *S* |

my palms are sweating and my friend, my heart is beating fast! i wonder could this venture into PIP forever last? i think about the days that past with some redeeming hope that we can still continue posting pomes and we can cope... but damn! it's like a bit of tease, these remedies of rhyme and oftentimes i find myself caught up within the time of beat and meter, nothing sweeter than the words of love, this place could be the death of me but still i look above the stars and sky and atmosphere and try to make some sense of how the whole thing happened to begin with, but i'm tense... i've had a bit of anguish over blues on pages, funky, and hell, i'm just a passionate piptalking rhyming junkie! so maybe i should now consider some group meeting of some people who can REALLY talk of Life and Hope and Love... uh oh... i'm HERE and this is where it's at ( I know you know) awww hell this damn addiction is so WONDERFUL and so I just must say to you today your PiPtalk junkie pome... made me feel fine and beautiful and very much at home!!!  hehee thanks for letting me get inspired... |
