The heart of you

0 posted 2002-02-12 02:12 PM

What did I think of you my love, in the dreams of my sleep?
I thought of holding you close to my heart, forever to keep.
I thought of dancing with you across a sky full of stars.
But, most of all, my love, I thought of being where you are.

I thought of having our eyes meet cross a room full of souls,
Where yours would be the only one that my hands could hold.
I thought of tasting your lips so sweet for the very first time
And forever my love, tending together our love light’s shine.

These are the things that I thought about you, my love, in dreams.
Thoughts that are carried away to you on softest moon’s beams.
Thoughts that stream across miles and flow gently into your head
And keep us softly in love, while we’re alone, for now, in our beds.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Very nice-- soft and flowing

There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar.

And what you may have thought of me in dreams, sir
may just have well been true
for in the night we have have belonged
but the day shall soon see us too.
What you've said of eyes and souls
sits kindly on my heart
this lady now loving you
has wildly played her part.
But I confess my present thoughts, Sir
to certainly be less tame
for what I'm thinking of you now
is slightly off your aim.
But your love is shown in this I'm sure
and mine in this I know
so take my rhyme of rough, Dear Sir
and watch it, with tenderness, grow.
For I may not have a rhythm like yours
and stars may not sing for me
but I am inspired nonetheless
that your loving words are free.
No price upon my heart
for dancing in your joy
No eyes to seek the know of this
just Lady and Sir twirling in bliss.
Just know that now the answer sought
is one I feel I knew
because when I reached to my desires
they drove themeselve straight to you.
So sitting here on lonely chair
I begin to ache
but to speak of that, Dear Sir
another room, that would take.

Hope you don't mind some inspiration, Sweet Sir. This was lovely writing.

I am many.

How beautifully enchanting this is. She has certainly inspired sweet thoughts in you.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

See what you're doing? Going around inspiring people, Romeo. You should consider them honored to be in your poetic presence. Wonderfully done.

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.
