If I could hold you tonight, I would, my love, you know. Please allow me to shelter you, From your bitter storm. Let me be your lighthouse. I will safely direct you home. Home is where your heart is. I know that yours is torn. Let me be your beacon, Guiding you through this fog. I will be your rock. Please stand upon it tall. I will bear your cross, To save you from your plight. I will be your eyes, To keep you from loosing sight, Of the dream we weave together, Still yet to be woven. I will be your crutch, To keep you from falling over. Please lean on me in times of need. You Know I won’t let you down. For all the strength you gave me, It will come back to you tenfold. For the love you gave so freely, Is imbedded in my soul. Now it’s my turn my love, to carry you home. |
