Just before
the waking of the senses
when life's fragility it's at its peak
I feel your presence
as if in a dream
your lips barely touch me
and without me knowing
you're next to me
We kiss
subliminally
slowly feeling the passion
strong
full of desire
I explore deeply
your soul
only to find out
you're out of touch
I cannot reach you
but I yearn to hold you
so I settle for feeling
the surface of your spirit
on my skin
on my body
in my solitude
and in my dreams
