I feel My life is like A finely hand-knit garment I took years to carefully Create it, and it looks so beautiful However, if one finds a loose thread And tugs it firmly The whole thing will unravel And soon no longer exist All that will be left Is a pile of loose thread Which by itself Amounts to nothing Only after I spend Loving time and effort To reconstruct it Will it be whole and beautiful Once again |

Very good simile and very true. Thankfully each thread, while it can uncravel, rarely does the whole tapestry unravel. Hope this fine poem was as healing for you to write as it is to read. |
