Cupid Needs Glasses

Is cupid cross eyed
He’s always missing me
Tries to aim at my heart
He hits the nearest tree

Cupid needs practice
I am the living proof
Last year he flew over
Landed upon my roof

Convinced cupid’s blind
Maybe blind as a bat
Watched him one year
He aimed at my cat

Watching him yearly
Flying right passed me
I’m convinced its his eyes
Poor cupid can’t see

I’ve wrote him and said
Its now me on a mission
Dear Cupid get glasses
Go to see an optician

Mailed him an eye chart
Along with my letter
This year I’m here hoping
His aims getting better

Very fun poem.

Maybe Cupid could benefit from some lovesick, lasek, radial "carrot"onomy!
