it never was competition between me and the pizza man it was the condition of the position and was all relative to time and to do with dying he was there first when cleo was hungry and she did say his biscuit of love filled her comfort belly and when he asked is she would she said she did until death did them part and they would live happily ever after if she could remodel the bedroom she did leave me the note when I was washing windows and she was straightening table cloths in her short shirt on tables that didn't have cloths or customers but did have a view that some men would die for and he did right after they made love each night the note said she always waited then in her bed with still want on and nothing much else and if I wanted I could come she would leave the door open if I would help her with her empty she said she couldn't sleep and always dreamed of it being full just a few times so she could finally die ©Dark |

There is a certain flavor that exceptional poems have....a flow, a way to say things and create images in a way that hasn't been done....a simplicity that causes the reader to fill in all the blanks and see the images before his eyes.......this poem has all that and more. It is comfortable....thank you for sharing ![]() |
