this poem is dedicated to all of the olympic athletes competing in the winter olymics at Salt Lake City, this month

The Olympians

From all over the world
representing their nations
they've trained for years
for this moment's elation

they skate and they ski
and they fly through the air
with sportsmanlike unity
beyond compare

coordination, practice and discipline
so much of their lives forsaken
they've given their all, just to play in these games
and these memories in the making

in the triumphs of February, we'll all remember
lives lost on that tragic day, last September

(sigh) Sooooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, deep down I believe this will be the most special and emotional Olmpics yet as we dedicate our excellence to the victims of 9/11. (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is soooooo gorgeous it made me cry, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
