Theirs

Fields of tulips in my dream
Silk flowing like waves joining stream
Amazing rainbows to the north
Swift butterflies to the south

Rivers of rainbow trouts in my mind
The silence broken by sounds of bellbirds
Currents of purest meandering waters
Through moist tranquil steamy forests

Mountains overlooking oceans in my memory
Ravaged in decades, barren disintegrating silently
On the edge I stand watching the destruction
The clock awakens me before the roosters commotion

It is time for action for our children's earth
Dream no further for it may be too late
Tell your neighbour tell your foes of the disgrace
The decimation has to cease before we sleep again

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

Wonderful message Daniel and my kind of poem. Yes, this earth is such a treasure, if only people would cherish it, beautiful write, floria
