Pierced Pierced I’ve been Shot The arrow Passed cleanly Through me I was Pierced By you The wounds Bled Red Blood dripping Down the Crown I was Pierced By you Speared I’ve been Lanced The shaft Driven through Release Such peace I was Speared By you The marks Show I know Still I bleed Love flows It flows I was Speared By you Marsha Forgive me darling poets I'm still trying brevity and free verse. Karren darling girl thank you yes HE is in my thoughts very much today. And thank you for putting up with my little attempts at free verse and brevity. Keth tells me that if I try to make one word do the job of six then I’m getting somewhere. Am I getting somewhere? Larry darling boy Keth has ever been my guide in my journeys into free verse. It’s no so much as she wishes to teach but she does encouragement very very well. As for the disclaimer, I’m really not convinced by this free verse at all, I feel like saying sorry it doesn’t rhyme. Marsha...sounds like cupid has been out and about with his arrow. Sometimes love hurts..hope for you it hurts good. I really liked the way you wrote this..short bursts..in both meaning and words. |

Marsha, quite a departure from your usual but very well done. Enjoyed this tremendously and it does wonder for me to find that you too are still working on free verse. I'm trying hard not to rhyme, which for me is almost impossible. Thanks for sharing your wonderful try. Cheryl |

I have to find one single word when normally I can get away with ten.
