This is written for those whose livelong inner scars will self heal. Scars cover my body but cannot be seen Deep insertions of insinuations ply deep in its sores Daggers of mistrust are cast before words are even spoken Impressions are set in concrete Before the beauty inside arrives Society’s children put you in another world Casting its spell of innuendoes Where the trial of your life has already sentenced you To a prison of isolation and desolation The scabs of the world that hide in Mardi Gras masks Live on self elevation into a level That garbage does not smell A point where they make more sense Than what nature has to put out In a draining of flushed needs The elevator shoes of giants in self diagnostics Will program you in their view Generating a virus of destructive immensity In chain letters of deceit The Enron grows inflated To burst eventuality in the stock being worthless To take on another flushing of sorts Eventually the curse of my presence will overpower To the sweet sensitivity in my living flesh feeling so Much that the people will hear me preach Of the dimensions within oneself being blessed In the universe of creative harmony With my hand in thought binding with theirs In a chain of humanity seen in any light That everyone has something to offer That it comes so naturally when you believe In God’s children whose scars smile D.Lester Young (02/06/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.writtenbyme.com/userprofile.php?name=davelyoung1 http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 |

(sigh) So very well-said, sweet friend, I believe we all hurt sometimes, and we are all children of God, but we suffer for a reason to grow and become the loving souls we are born to be and learn to have compassion for others and establish harmony using it! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lester, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
