 (This is for my dream girl Joanna) Aphrodite By: Noah Eaton 2/8/02 She rises from the sea foam Under bird-hatching skies of Zeus in the daylight She stands naked on a clam shell A pearl of true love not even Botticelli could describe She paints her eyes with lavender She suckles the olives from willows of wine She feels the eastern Mediterranean breeze wave her hair Sweet darling, you will always be mine You are my Aphrodite You are my sweet butterfly You are my Aphrodite You are my goddess of a love so divine You blow bubbles in my garden You have shown me the path to Yeroskipos I see your face reflected in your mirror O' Aphrodite, the sweet laughing, sing thy fortissimo You are my Aphrodite You are my butterfly You are my Aphrodite You are my goddess of love so divine Sweet shining Aphrodite the golden I will take you to paradise Through this Trojan War of my self-esteem You have come You have saved me… You have seduced me in this passionate liaison You have made my heart sparkle and gleam… You are the whispering of sweet girls Laced in silk and Marseille In union of the Cupid we'll share this golden apple My love, I'll sing to you forever...
