I watched the morning
spread across the sky
fighting for room
with the clouds
dominating with light
controlling with warmth,
soothing hues of pink
still I wished the clouds
with their bulky weight
slow purpose
could have held the day
in the comfort found
in shades of grey…..

Sorry 'bout your sunny day!  I do know what you mean, though.  Sometimes the grey is what we need to feel.    ---Cowboy

(big hugggssssss) Oh Susan, I know just how you feel, I do love the sunshine, but I like to wake up in the morning where the sun doesn't shine in my eyes so I can get adjusted to the morning and then welcome the sun as the noon comes! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, your words always make me smile! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

You painted a pretty picture SEA~
The sky is grey today, but there
is a sense of calm that sooths me.
Your words never fail to speak to me.

Lovely, as always~

Susan--The weather always feeds my mood.  I like the sun, but I sure know what you mean.  Much enjoyed!

Cowboy,
Yes, the grey days feel best to me
I prefer my sky to brood

Seymour,
That is so nice of you, thank you

Noah,
Thank you, I am wishing for less sun
more clouds today

Bluesy,
My grey has lost the fight
So you enjoy it for me now
And thank you very much

Michael,
It rained so hard last night
Yes, I want more….
I always want more  LOL
(((hugs)))

Martie,
Yes!! Me too…the weather has a huge
impact on my moods, thank you so much!

Shades of Gray, my favorite colors,
Nice poem, at times it would be nice not to have face
The colors of the day, those blues and pinks,
Yellows and majestic purples,
Gray hides the sins of reality much better

SEA, you really have a way of stringing those clouds and words together in vivid imagery. I love this one, though I need some sunshine today!
