They cut down competing saplings and leave room for forest growth they work at desks over-night do chores at home for their sick folks. They get up at the crack of dawn gobble down what there is in the fridge sip warmed-up coffee and program their day: the woods and fauna to expose and turn to new highways. They are symbols of an industrious country have been hunted for their pelts, have contributed to fur company wealth, have seen their homes on stilts, collapse. what are the chances that we have to survive if we keep ourselves busy around our hives and behave as busy beavers do keeping up their dams but in fact we're busy at destroying God's natural plan. Yes, when will we learn we are part of nature and cannot "rule" this planet? Enjoyed your poem very much. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) So very sad but well-said, sweet friend, my heart goes out to Mother Nature and I pray we can all stop this destruction somehow! (big huggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I enjoyed this very much, Martin...The beaver is another one of the chipmunk's cousins...they both belong to the Rodent family. Chipmunks eat acorns which are also a product of trees....but we are not as destructive as beavers. copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |

that's probably because the beaver has a larger biomass so it has to consume a larger diet to maintain its weight that the Chipmunk. You have chosen a more frugal rodent Madame Chipmunk |
