Callous clouds hung low, their rein the bleak corral that concrete, endless horizon and undark consider a February day. Hunger and alone huddled then broke for the Chinese buffet. At least one would be deferred. The innocent beginning, a white tablecloth. The indoor fountain pools, our affair's baptismal font from which but one seems to have emerged. The instant warmth of the egg drop soup nearly brings tears. Starvation lay in a bed of fried rice and variety lusted in sweet and sour pork, chicken and shrimp. Steamed broccoli and mushrooms play soft and subtle texture between teeth. Fried dumplings and cheese puffs in fullness massaged gums then reposed below deck, ballast for the balance of the day's journey. Hot tea from a tiny handleless cup finally warmed even weary bones and innards where until now only a lone heart stay faithful, temperate and humane like a blazing hearth in a vast, dark and shuttered room. Reflection snapped by the fortune cookie which stated on one side, against overwhelming odds; 7 12 23 39 42 46 it's reverse whispered a less likely "You will be Loved deeply". "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

About time you came home, Master Poet...it's been far too long to keep me from enjoying verse like this... and well done, I might add.... |

Oh gosh...so good to see your words gracing these blue pages again....This poem made me hungry for both such a meal and the love that seemed to be missing...*sigh* an inner hunger and desire of the heart within the heart....Magnificent....**big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Welcome home, wayfaring stranger, where warm replies are but an appetizer to the main course, compassionate friendship. And why is it that I am suddenly thirsty for hot Chai tea? |

Thank you kind friends for the warm return. I've been stuck in a blue place (not pages) and hopefully will have a presence again. |

Hot tea from a tiny handleless cup finally warmed even weary bones and innards where until now only a lone heart stay faithful, temperate and humane like a blazing hearth in a vast, dark and shuttered room. ===================================== This serves proof that there is poetry everywhere, when we open our minds to it. SO? all I had to do was ask? it was that easy? *L* yes....was a pleasure to wander in and find your name here today. To your postscript ... play the numbers...and never doubt the possibilities...for just like the poetry...things can be found when we are open to it You speak to me in riddles and you speak to me in rhymes. |

Today is our lottery, so will use your numbers Richard and split it with you if I win, how's that? (and you know I would) You can even make a Chinese dinner into something spectacular, and it is sooooo good to see you writing again. Now off to get a ticket! The older I grow, the less important the comma becomes. Let the reader |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh my gosh, now I am flooding with tears, we've all missed you soooooo much, it's so great to see you again! (big hugggssssss) My heart cries out to everyone who has struggled this way but yet I know deep down love will come to them all and their answers will come to their questions! God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
