What We Had

Driving, today – a sudden flash of memory:

When you removed my woolen glove
to feel our palms meet
(in the winter dark of a parking-lot)

Your fingers… slid
(traced to base of thumb, those
mappings-down to chain my wrist.)
There in the dark - I trembled.

Still traveling this daily road – remembering

when we stopped
and moved into one another
(as we’d known we would
from the start, eyes leading inward,
and I saw your wanting)

one touch -

and time departed.

I think your memories are vey strong. It's hard sometimmes, to be cursed with such perfect recall of moments gone, especially when they don't return. This is wonderfully descriptive.

(tears fall down my cheeks) So very sad but beautiful, sweet friend, sometimes such sweet memories can bring tears when the magic no longer exists, but there will always come those that are bound to enchant our hearts forever! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Carol, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Enjoyed reading this. It as a soft sensual feel, almost like a whispered caress...  well done!

thank you so much.  it's in the way of a memory-excision, sort of... or a healing.
