~* To Be Part Of The Family *~I checked in on both my granddaughters, sleeping so peacefully in their beds. I saw them both surrounded by stuffed animals, and a soft teddy snuggled by their heads. The baby must have been dreaming, as she had a sweet smile upon her face. My heart melted as I looked down upon her, and it stored another memory to never erase. The older one looked so very peaceful, content within her own little world. I stroked her porcelain complexion, gently moving away some auburn hair curled. We spent a whole week together, the entire family and me, and each time I see them all, there’s so many changes in the kids I see. I never miss a chance to share this time, And look forward to spending it with them all. Time passes so quickly in this life, I drop everything when the family does call. To share these moments in time with them being included in their life is a gift indeed. To laugh, love, and experience joy, Is truly something that I need. Being included in their life says a lot to me, if it’s spending a day, or staying overnight. You see, their invitation always says to me, “Hey, you must be doing something right!” ~*~ I took a chance to show off my kids, as there is nothing more important than family, nothing! And the best gift you can ever give them is your love, time, and yourself. Above is My son, daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, and Bandit the dog! ~* Carpe' Diem *~ [This message has been edited by Mysteria (02-07-2002 12:17 AM).] |

That is definitely a wonderful family photo collection. Thank you for sharing these with us, and the poem. But who wouldn't want such a proud happy poetic wonderful mom or grandmother like you? You can adopt us into your family any time....but you and I would have to be sisters. |

I think I will make that a challenge actually, and going there right now! Thank you all again, you are also part of my wonderful family too. ~* Carpe' Diem *~ |

Ya know - We LOVE seeing our Passionate folks in 'everyday' mode... This is an absolutely WONDERFUL post... Thanks for sharing this super-duper family with us... Looks like you're responsible for a pretty darned good-looking group here.. The poem's pretty good in its own right, ya know?? Um.. What's the dog's name??.. |

There is no place like home...having a wonderful family and friends is the way things should be And your family has the added advantage of having a grandmom like you who writes nice poetry! |

Thank you all for accepting us into your house and also for taking me into this wonderful family too. Nan, that over-energetic fleabag's name is Bandit, and I love her too. [This message has been edited by Mysteria (02-07-2002 12:26 AM).] |

What a great poem. It's really neat how you put the pictures with the poem and let us see the faces behind your poem. I hope you made a copy for your family. If my mother or grandmother did something like that, it would be something that I would always treasure. Stacy Smith |

Well you two thank you so much. Well I am darn proud of my entire family let me tell you and any time I can get to talk about them I do, so thank you again. The older I grow, the less important the comma becomes. |
