Another butterfly kissed an ear

"Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy before the LORD,
for he comes to judge the earth. " NIV 1 Chronicles 16:33

As I was walking down a path one day
Along a dense dark wooded forest trail
Saw a little girl, 'bout seven, at play
Talking to a little bird looking frail.

Little girl, I said, you should not be here
The forest is not safe for anyone
as young as you. Danger lurks; you should fear
She laughed at me, said I'm having much fun.

And a bee flew and landed on her nose
She said hello, little bee, where've you been
I've been waiting for you to play on my toes
The bee seemed to talk, then flew away, then.

A snake crawled along and slid on a toe
She said hello friend then petted its head
And it glided along where snakes do go
Then a butterfly kissed her lips, so red.

These are my friends, the little girl said
They keep me safe from danger and all harm
But they are scared of men who kills them dead
God shows them their friends; a wasp touched her arm.

In perfect creation, there's never fear
So Mister, she said, why are you now here?

As another butterfly kissed an ear.

That was a good question, and I am now curious of his answer.  I really liked this, well done.

Newell, This one has touched me deeply....You see that little girl was/is me!  Yes....one can converse with nature.  Bees won't sting and other insects won't bite if they know you are not going to harm them. Butterflies will land on you, as well as bees and tiny birds. They can sense it...oh, now I am going to start to ramble...lol...just let me say, I love this!!
~Warm hugs, Nancy~

~Time has cast a spell on you,
So you won't ever forget me~
