"A Drop in the Glass"
----------

The lonliness is treasure
The lonliness is bliss
Like a bead of rolling water
I am eager for your kiss

Reach into your soul
And feel a heart thats made of gold
Like a bead of rollings water
In the bottom of the glass
My heart is being slaughtered
By my deathlike lonliness

You have no clue
What you do to me
You have no clue
What you do to me

And I look for a sunny day
For the pain to take away
You can end it all like nothing
You can end it without delay

Like a bead of rolling water
Ready to make a splash
My heart is empty and burning
Like a heap of dusty ash

You have no clue
What you do to me
You have no clue
What you do to me

Then sadness is over
The pain is overcome
Like a bead of rolling water
Only meaningful to some

Only you can end the hurt
And you did so without effort
Like a bead of rolling water
My love falls no longer short

You have no clue
What you do to me
You have no clue
What you do to me

YOU HAVE NO CLUE
WHAT SHE DID TO ME

Wow, sounds like she certainly got your emotions fired up there. Great, and powerful write you have composed. I think I’m going back to this for a second read…maybe even a third. Oh what the heck, into my library...this is good

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Thank you all so much for the positive comments. I'm very pleased to hear you like it. I've only written this with two other pieces.. all of which are posted here. It's nice to hear that people aren't totally dissatisfied with my work in its amateur state.
