When love is built on rocks. "The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." NIV Matthew 7:25 When promises flow through balmy winds why do we think they're right When sun shines bright in blue skies, today does that mean there's no night. The deeds we do in joy, it's true, evaporate in vapor For all that's built upon the sand will fall with little labor. To say I'm yours or I adore may please someone for a day When vicious storm winds blow, strength of rock soon has its solid say. Promises built on bondage sand break quickly; lies are spoken Only strong true love, with no chains will build a rock unbroken. Strength is always built on truth, forces trust in strong attraction And truth is found in open minds not in one's satisfaction, When love is built on rocks.
