Listening to every heart

My Muse Plays Celtic

Lord oh Lord what had me played
when I listened first the Celtic sway
which carried me oh, so far away,
as what those tunes did me this day

Carried me off to Donegal's green
where my soul must once have been
and I know I believe in Brigadoon
as I heard an Irish lass croon

"Harmonious Pipe" was Stephen's song
and I listen so quietly, oh so long
as it played, I knew this thrill
to be again there on yon hill

'Tis so pleasant to hear e'en the pipe
to envision now the mists at dawn
to be then in your arms so wide
to walk the landscape God set us on

I believe I'm then from Ireland
for the lovely mists and moors
call me back with Celtic song
and take me to where I lived before…

Kari...you are rolling....keep going...
My High School was known as the Highlanders.
We had a band with a bagpipe corp...Always
enjoyed listening to the sounds and the
music...I have been to Scotland...is a very
mystical and quaint place...Lots of history
there...You have captured some in this poem.
Enjoyed...

Oh Karilea...This is wonderful!
And...I do believe I have been to Brigadoon and gathered heather on the hill.
