A Dream...A Vision A dream, a vision, a hope, a prayer I wish each night as I lay my head I want to see shadows of you there A hope to meet in this midnight land I find eyes shining with pure delight A sparkle that lifts my heart with joy A glimmer of lust that you excite I sigh, it’s what I use to employ My heart is beating to lover’s songs I catch the echo of your reply I know that, to you, my heart belongs My feelings, I no longer deny I can hear your love whispered on winds My ears hear the howl of your desire My hand feels my heartbeat as it spins I feel flesh consumed by passion’s fire Karen Torbiak 2002© Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
