Hot Silence,
Punctuated with a slam
Of a door
He’d ignore,
She could not get attention,
She had tried
Even cried,
While silently was toiling,
Persistence
Met distance,
Her emotions were boiling,
He’d ignore
Giving her only silence.

Cold Silence,
Intently reads the paper,
News and sports
In his shorts,
While sipping a nice cold beer,
Like most days,
Radio plays
Old rock songs of long ago,
Tunes he’ll hum,
Fingers drum,
Lyrics he no longer knows;
He’ll ignore
The disruptions of silence.

Gloom, very sad........

The very things she does
causes him to ignore
but shes tried her best
can't think anymore
She could even lay butt
naked on the floor
He would just step over her
on his way to the door

He forgot her beauty
from her youth
Forgot the passion
and her sweet tooth
They forgot they were lovers
and best friends
They let the
responsibilities
get the better of them

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Aszard, this is soooooo sad, my heart goes out to him and the nostalgia of yearning he feels and I pray with all my heart he can again embrace the world behind his window and find golden silence of peace and serenity! (sad sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful writing! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

Personally I would prefer to silently ignore than get all riled up over trivia...if it's a love relationship wellthe silent exits hurt just as well if not more. Write on

Gloom, Yes I guess there are both hot and cold types of silence...but, they both hurt.
Very sad the indifference portrayed here.
