There is power
in the shadows
of the darkness
of retreat
the art
of being
"not quite there"
invisibility

There is something
in the nothing
brings eternal
ring of
light
exemplified
by dark
a lark
of
pure
invisibility
There is something
sometimes moves
within shadows
of your mind
Darkness be
your only prove
a chokehold
keeping
beat
to
time
again
again
the
pendulum
keeping beat
to chokehold
time...

What have we to say, when then
the clock strikes midnight once again?
What voice of mine should mock,
"tick-tock"
when harmony of choice
asks
"when?"

I've read this 3 times.  Even lit a cigarette for it.  I love the rhythym, the pendulum.  It comes across easily.  The meaning, may take another few reads.

Well you gracious southern belle this is a marvelous write but you got me on the meaning! Maybe someone else will pick up on it and I will come back and get it through my thick head.

There is no power in this darkness or maybe there is ....I don't know!

My team is in your fair city and even though they are not favorites I'm still rooting for them.........GO NEW ENGLAND!!!  GO GO
