Her King (Response to Startime's The Lonely Path I Walk)

In every dream I see you
Walking everywhere
And as I fly around the blue
There's always lots of air.

You sparkle in the bright sunshine
A twinkling star at night
Your spirit dances in God's wine
Walking alone each night.

I often follow your shadow
And hide behind a cloud
Because I know you're high; I'm low
For Angels make your crowd.

But from a distant satellite
My heart cries, She's a Queen!
Always walking alone at night
And never with a King.

If only I could sprout new wings
Climb her trajectory
Maybe She'd fly to me and sing
Her song of royalty.

Then we would soar through heaven's blue
Together, O, so grand
There'd be no longer lonesome walks
We just fly hand in hand.

When she made me Her King.

Startime, you are very welcome. Thanks for your very kind words about the poem.

And as far as just being a human, my, my, haven't you heard? Each of us has our own star in the heavens. Remember the Star of Bethlehem and the Wise me who saw the Star of a New King.

Here on earth we live in lots of darkness! We are taught many lies and urged and coerced to keep our windows closed to our true spirit identites. And you, my dear Startime, fly with Angels. I know! I've been up there, watching.

So, when you walk tonight, look up and look for your star. I'll be someplace near by trying to grow wings, LOL.... Love,

*sigh* you touch my soul right now...I cannot explain too well but seeking and experiencing spiritual things is something that comes pretty easily to me...I love to see the truth and feel more than our limited senses allow us...yes, dear man, a deeper part of me, that few know of, has been touched by your words tonight. **big big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Very nice Newell, Startime deserves such a fine response. I love this verse.

My heart cries, She's a Queen!
Always walking alone at night
And never with a King."
