Reading over old poems written,
Brings back memories I've been forgettin'
Balladeer and LongJohn too
Nan the censor, to name a few.

Rainbow girl, her British ways,
Nighthawk that prick, those were the days
All the talent, poets and friends,
Folks I miss, the tears and grins.

So here's an oldie from the past
Not one that roasts Balladeer's ass.

Come to me
Do not hesitate
I am not funky

Please be mine
Let our hearts entwingle
Like honeysucker

Jump around me
Scuff my boots
Fingerpoke at me

Skippy-toe by
With owl-growls
And Fa-la-la's

Love with me
All your grits
As I love you

(smiles) Ooohhhhhh...I just love reading your old timeless classics, I wish I was there to read these before, but I feel just as happy reading them now, such lovely onomateopoeia and rhythm fills these romantic words! Took me back a bit reading your name on these pages, course my name was different back then, things change I guess. Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be.

LOL... I love the intro verses, Toe... and fa-la-la's and owl growls have always been a favorite of this gal who loves you with all her grits... plain, with cheddar, topped with red-eye gravy... you name it! *S* Welcome back!
