Wanting

Wanting , waiting, wishing, weeping
Craving, crying, cricket creaking
Slowly slipping, slumber, sleeping

Cunning cryptic crazed conception
Dreadful dreaming, doubts, deception
Devil’s deeds distort direction

Bold betrayal, blistering, blind
Madness marks the mordant mind
Visions veil the vineyard’s vine

Darkness draping dreary dawn
Featheredfowl and forest fawn
Lingering lull on lake and lawn

Mallards mock the morning mist
Spears of sunlight softly sift
Lofty layers lightly lift

Waking, wishing wanting weeping,
Kind caresses, coming, creeping
Softly slip, surround the sleeping

Muddled madly murky mist
In insanity’s insist
Blessed was he with blinding bliss

And she awoke to loving kiss

Oh my, Liz...this is fabulous.  I've had days just like this, but couldn't write it, much less explain it.

Elizabeth
Just a little work of alliteration genius here.
I love the way it ends!
Very tastefully done as usual..........just an awesome conception of poetic form!

I'm smiling... I am..

This is a bit out of character for you - and I like it.. (I like the others too, of course)...
