If I didn't love myself so much
You might just have a chance,
But as you can plainly see---
I've no need for Romance!

For I'm already in Love
With one who will never leave,
Unlike so many in the world
And that is guarenteed!

I love the image that is cast
And how to me it smiles,
Who always shares the mood I'm in
And does so with perfect Style!

For him I buy those "just right" things
That he appreciates,
My thoughtfulness I always show
Because he is so great!

No other one could suit me
Who else would be good enough,
To lavish upon my affection
And share my life, so filled up?

No, I've found the Perfect Valentine
As you can plainly see,
That one who is so Wonderful--
Just happens to be me!!!!!

[where do I come up with these crazy poems???]

LOL David, at least you won't be abruptly left by your "valentine".

David,

I truly believe that one cannot love anyone else unless one learns to love self. Doesn't Christ say, "Love your neighbor as yourself". And the more we love ourselves, can we not love others, more, too!

It is nice to know that you have lots of capacity to love others.
