Branches of tress shed leaves. The adulteress, autumn hangs up the sign "we're open, Come in, please. Striptease." The playful breeze won't cease. It spins in whirl-winds. Shed the curtains. foliage up to the knees -- striptease. Dance so as not to freeze! Do as you please. In the golden gardens, throw aside your garments. It's the season's caprice, striptease. The title was definetly enticing, (Do I have to moderate? ) LOL, but I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent poem! I loved the playful and joyous tone you gave to autumn when often it is depicted as rather depressing. I enjoyed this peace muchly, "Dance so as not to freeze!" I should take that to heart "A hard, cold wisom is required for goodness to accomplish good. Goodness without wisdom always accomplishes evil" - Robert Heinlein |
