I Am     (inspired by Krawdad’s  “ephemeron”)

I am the beach
that washes tide
your alter ego
personified

I am the wind
you can not see
but with no sight
do you only imagine me

I am the rain
true tears to earth
within each drop
gives us rebirth

I am the sun
your beaconing light
and reflect the stars
to guide your night

I am the moon
with shadows blessed
to hold a heart
in its sweet crest

I am the shore
each and every grain
we were then
we still remain

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

helen - this one is as beautiful as the others that you write. Perhaps fragile and delicate touches your pen...

h,

Inspired this?
I'm flattered, of course, and you know where that will get you . . .
And you are welcome to any inspiration I can provide.
This is a generous and soothingly written  piece.   Thank you.
