How many times have You formed the chain, Said a phrase at the Beginning, waiting For it to reach the end Of the line... And by the time That phrases reaches The ears of the Final link, It has become Something else... Not the original, But revised, Sometimes hysterical Nonsense, But no less important At the end Than the starting gate... This illustrates my point: It began with one thing, Then became two, unknown, In the center of that line, And by the time it came Out in the wash- It was something else Completely, with an emotion Renewed and miracle-grown From the mere shadow it Was before. Yes,it entered The closet- But emerged From the dresser Drawer. |

![]() ![]() ![]() WOW!!! It seems like you're saying that sometimes we may start an idea or concept but in time it will never be finished and later it will continue with new applied knowledge and thoughts in both verse and social interaction! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, BRAVO!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! ![]() ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Thank you for reading and replying, Sunshine and Mistletoe. It seems a lot of things in life are like this. Love and friendships either break, drift or become stronger. The painting the artist had in mind at the beginning may change and become completely different when finished than when originally pictured. A poem, or a story, may start as one idea and become another. But none of these things entered my mind as I wrote this poem. |
